If you feel resistance to this, notice the resistance. What is the resistance about? What would it mean to accept yourself in this present moment?
EMOTION
How are you feeling today? Take a moment and identify your emotion. How big is your emotion today? Is it smaller than a rabbit or bigger than a rhinoceros? What happens if you sit with this emotion? Are you able to name it? Is it constant or does your emotion come and go? Grief can ebb and flow, where are you today? Are you caught in the rush of the current? Or are you able to step back and observe from a distance?
ACTION
I’m going to play some music for you called “A Fresh Start.” (In the audio) As you listen, notice your surroundings. Notice what is around you without judgment. Are you indoors or outdoors? What are the first 5 objects you see? What emotion does this music evoke? Just listen and allow yourself to notice if there is any response to this music. (Listen to “A Fresh Start”)
