“Angie is a great support. I honestly believe I learned more through this experience than any other supervision. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from her.”

Clinical Supervision

Now accepting supervisees at affordable and reasonable rates.

Do you need supervision while you accumulate the hours needed to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)? I am well-versed in working with trauma/complex trauma, anxiety, addiction, depression, grief, couples counseling, and the ethical and professional development of new counselors.

I teach preparation courses for the National Counseling Exam (NCE) and include sample quizzes, study guides, and PowerPoint study guides to assist new graduates as they study for the NCE.

I also offer supervisees who want to pursue their addiction license supervision for addiction licensure and study guides and assist them in preparation for the Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) exam.

I have studied under high-caliber supervisors and strive to bring that same quality to my supervisees.

A little More . . .

I offer a strong commitment to high ethical and professional standards. I graduated from Regis University in 2010. I gained my clinical experience as a family and individual therapist in residential treatment facilities for 6 years. I am committed to supporting new clinicians on their exciting journey. I utilize a strength-based approach, exploring ways to help supervisees gain the experience and knowledge they want.

I pursued my private practice in 2017 while simultaneously working for the crisis support line. I am grateful for a Regis professor that provided consultation and supervision to further my career goals.

I specialize and am experienced with trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, dissociation, life transitions, grief and loss (divorce/relationship), and low self-esteem. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, and art/creative interventions to support recovery.

I have been utilizing EMDR since 2018 and working toward an EMDR certification. I am impressed by how this approach supports recovery and improves client beliefs about self, others, and the world.

I have taken the Approved Clinical Supervision (45 credit hours). I have also taken recent Clinical Supervision I & II courses that includes supervision for addiction counseling. I am in process of completing my Approved Clinical Supervision (ACS) certification. I am licensed in the state of Oregon in 2015 then when I relocated to Colorado, I obtained a Colorado license in 2017. At this time, I am only accepting supervisees for Colorado license candidates. I am licensed in both Oregon and Colorado. I am a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors and the American Association for Marriage and Family. I maintain my professional training and continuing education courses as required.

Note: Beginning September 1st, 2021, new requirements have been established for an LPC to be a clinical supervisor. (House Bill: HB20-1206). I adhere to these standards. I look forward to sharing with others my experience and be a part of your journey.
